Can't upload avatar in .jpg format

When I try to upload avatar in .JPG i see : Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg()
and avatar is not saved.

With avatars in .gif everythink is OK.

Interesting. Mine is a JPG. You might double-check the size and resolution of the file you're trying to upload. If you care, that is. Nothing wrong with a GIF if that works.

I have trouble with many things when I use Internet Explorer - like replying to posts, and even logging in.

BUT everything works fine when I use the Mozilla Firefox browser which is free from www.mozilla.com/firefox/
